Established in Winter of 1997, La Maisnie is a small collection of people based out of Seattle, Washington interested in the re-enactment of daily life in the late 15th century mainstream Europe.

Authenticity is very important to us, as is consistency. We are trying to create a window on a specific time and place.  Choosing the ordinary and commonplace rather than the exceptional or unusual, we try to recreate everyday 15th century life as closely as possible within the bounds of reason, and safety.
